Two hotly-tipped young women singer songwriters are to appear at May’s Great Escape festival.
Ellie Goulding, a folk artist who has embraced electronic music, topped the BBC’s Sound of 2010 poll, voted for by critics and industry insiders.
Welsh singer songwriter Marina and the Diamonds, aka Marina Diamandis, came at number two. Former winners have included Adele, Little Boots and Keane.
