A Hove man has been hurt in a hit and run.
The 28-year-old suffered a broken ankle when he was struck by a car in Church Road, Hove, at 12.15am yesterday, according to Sussex Police.
The injured man, who had been trying to cross the road, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
Officers want to speak to the driver of a dark-coloured BMW which did not stop at the time.
