A fire badly damaged Brighton’s Greek Orthodox church on Sunday.

Sussex Police officers attended after being called by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service to the fire in Carlton Hill, Brighton, at around 2.45pm.
The areas surrounding the fire were evacuated by police.
The roads were reopened after the fire was put out by the fire service. No one was injured or harmed.
Police are conducting a joint investigation with the fire investigations officer to establish the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The fire is being treated as suspicious at this time.
