Trial date set for suspected Brighton flasher

A date has been set to try a man accused of being a flasher.

The charges relates to an incident in Brighton earlier this year.

Paul Goodenough, 39, of Sandes Place in Leatherhead, Surrey, is due to be tried at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday 31 May.

He faces a trial on three charges, all of which he denies.

Two of the charges accuse him of knowingly or recklessly trespassing on premises with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The third charge is that he exposed himself.

The first two charges relate to incidents in Ditchling Road, Brighton, on Sunday 16 August last year, and Gratwicke Road, Worthing, on Sunday 31 January this year.

The exposure charge, for intentionally exposing his genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused harm or distress, follows an incident in Brighton on Sunday 21 February.

He was remanded on bail.
