A man needed hospital treatment after being attacked during a night out in Brighton.
The man, in his early twenties, was in Stroudley Road, off Trafalgar Street, when he was punched in the head.
He was treated for an eye injury at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Eastern Road, Brighton, after the attack at about 4.30am on Sunday (3 April).
Sussex Police said that the victim, who is from Crawley, was approached by a group of three to four people and was punched although he was unable to recall how many times.
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the attack or a group of people in the area around the time of the assault.
