A girl was left with a broken nose and possible hearing loss after a “nasty and violent” attack by three other girls in a Brighton park.
Police today appealed for witnesses to the attack on the 14-year-old girl and her friend, also aged 14, in the park on Wolseley Road, Coldean, at 5.30pm on Saturday, 19 July.
One of the girls was taken to hospital to be treated for a broken nose and deafness to one ear.
Detective Constable Duncan Lloyd said: “We would like to speak to any witnesses and especially to a woman who interrupted the incident, who may be able to provide key evidence to help the victim of this nasty and violent assault.”
A 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, both from Brighton, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They were questioned and released on bail until Sunday 24 August.
A 15-year-old girl, also from Brighton, was arrested on suspicion of assault.She has been questioned and released on bail until Tuesday 26 August.
