A motorcyclist was badly hurt in a crash with a car in Brighton, Sussex Police said yesterday (Thursday 6 October).
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle collided with the side of car in Brighton.
“The incident, involving a green Kawasaki Zypher and a red Peugeot 107, occurred in Coldean Lane, close to the junction with Park Road, at about 11.34am on Sunday (2 October).
“The motorcyclist – a 50-year-old man from Brighton – was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries.
“The driver of the Peugeot – a 49-year-old woman from Chelmsford in Essex – was taken to the same hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.”
