A missing teenage girl has been safe and well in Brighton, Sussex Police said this afternoon (Tuesday 8 August).
The force said: “Missing Jenny Doyle has been found.
“Jenny, 15, who was last seen on Saturday 3 June in Ditchling, has been found safe and well in Brighton.”
Sussex Police made a public appeal for help tracing the teenager on Wednesday 7 June.
At the time the force said: “Police are concerned for teenager Jenny Doyle who has gone missing.
“We are concerned about Jenny due to her age.”
About 300,000 people a year are reported missing across the country, with Sussex Police issuing public appeals for help on average once a day.
