A man suspected of rape and kidnap has been remanded in custody by Brighton magistrates.

Steven Wilson, 35, will be brought before a judge at Lewes Crown Court on Friday 25 June to answer the charges.

Wilson, also known as “Dollar”, faces two counts of raping a girl under 16 and two other counts of rape.

Wilson, of Colls Road, Peckham, London, also faces two counts of kidnap, two of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and one of indecent assault.

He is already due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Friday 14 May to face nine other charges.

They include robbery, kidnap, blackmail, four counts of assault and witness intimidation in relation to a domestic abuse case in Brighton and London.
