A man has been sent to crown court in custody charged with making threats to burn down Whitehawk Family Hub and abusive messages to two women.
The family hub and Whitehawk Library as well as Portslade Hub were closed on Thursday.
Jamie Wilkinson, 31, appeared the same day at Brighton Magistrates Court charged with threatening to damage Whitehawk Childrens Service Hub on Whitehawk Road with fire.
He was also charged with sending abusive voice messages to Megan McLoone and and Elena Campbell.
He had been arrested the previous day, on Wednesday, 12 November.
All three charges say the offences were made between Monday, 10 November and Wednesday, 12 November from an address in Grand Parade, Brighton.
Wilkinson, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing at Lewes Crown Court on 11 December.
He was denied bail on the basis he is likely to abscond or offend, and because of the seriousness of the offence.
The library and two hubs were not declared safe to reopen until late on Friday.
