Huge crowds turned out to mark Brighton and Hove Pride as the annual parade made its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park yesterday (Saturday 1 August).
The event started out as a protest and over the past 35 years has become a fixture in the area’s annual calendar.
Today, it is much more of a celebration with the number turning out estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands – and in glorious weather this year.
As well as the colourful parade yesterday and a street party in Kemp Town last night, revellers in Preston Park can look forward to more big names from the world of pop this evening.
Raye was the headline act last night while tonight the Motown legend Diana Ross is Coming Out to round off the weekend.
