Caroline Lucas was again told off for being disorderly in Parliament after presenting a collage petition from Brighton residents in the Commons.
Brighton Pavilion MP Ms Lucas held up the picture, which was made up of images of her constituents, at Prime Minister’s Question Time.
But she was told off by the Speaker for being disorderly before her question about the Prime Minister’s attendance at a summit later this month could be answered.
Speaker John Bercow MP told the Green MP that if all MPs did the same, it would “make a mockery of this place”.
Posting on Facebook later, Ms Lucas said: “Hundreds of you have asked me to hold the Government to account on tackling climate change – which is why I’ve backed the For The Love Of…campaign (do look it up online)
“Last week lovely Brighton and Hove residents told me what they loved most in the world – and why they wanted to protect it from climate change.
“I took our Big Picture Petition to Downing Street and today I took it to PMQs, together with a letter setting out the key climate policies the UK must adopt. Great to take a stand together.”
Ms Lucas was previously told to “cover up” after wearing a T-shirt in protest at the Sun’s page 3 girls during a Commons debate.
