More than three quarters of Brighton and Hove residents say they support assisted suicide for the terminally ill, a new poll reveals.
And about two thirds say they would also support it in cases where elderly people are suffering from serious but not terminal illness.
Meanwhile, while more than half say they have heard of Living Wills, fewer than one in ten have written one – although most say they would be likely to.
The full results of the poll, conducted by Kindle Research, can be found here.
