A Hove nightclub’s owners want to extend their opening hours until 4am.
Laden Eshgi-Nikkhah and Mehrdad Eshgi-Nikkhah have applied to extend the licence for Caps and Sarasota in Western Road, Hove, which currently has to close at 2am.
They had originally applied to stay open until 6am each morning but changed their plans after discussions with Brighton and Hove City Council staff.
The council’s licensing committee is due to decide whether to grant the licence during a meeting at Hove Town Hall at 2pm on Friday (October 8).
The owners have also applied for permission for drinkers to use an internal door to move between the ground floor bar and basement nightclub. They currently have to go outside to move between the two levels.
