Kinky traffic wardens return to Brighton
The kinky traffic wardens are back in Brighton – after a seven-year gap.
The pair were patrolling New Road as part of Fringe City issuing tickets to passers by – encouraging them to “keep it kinky!”
At one point the pair were even spotted taking tea with models promoting Brighton Fashion Week.
David Harper and Philip Willett first donned their outfits for the Streets of Brighton during the Brighton Festival in 2005.
They were so visually stunning that they were featured in the next edition of North Laine Photography’s Brighton and Hove Calendar.
David Harper said: “We feel it’s our duty to highlight the half dozen or so people in this city who fall below Brighton’s basic standard of kinkiness that most of us take for granted.”
He and ACT graduate Philip – aka Angela – will be out again next Saturday for a last hurrah.
