Albion lost their first pre-season game of the season to Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal.
Ashley Barnes opened the scoring after around 10 minutes but Ruben Cani equalised just before half time .
Both teams and the referee emerged for the second half in their second strips.
The Spaniards settled their win with goals from Jonathan Pereira and Pedro Rios in front of a crowd of just over 12,000 at the Amex.
Albion play Norwich CIty at home on Tuesday (30 July) in their final pre-season friendly before taking on Leeds United at Elland Road four days later on the opening day of the Championship season.
