Free-runners arrested after householder mistakes them for burglars
Free-runners sparked a police hunt in Brighton after they were
mistaken for burglars.
A resident of Freshfield Road called police to alert them to someone
breaking into their neighbour’s home.
They told police they had seen a man climbing down a ladder.
Police came to the scene and arrested three men – but it soon
transpired they had not been breaking into houses.
Instead, they had been free running across rooftops.
They trio were released without charge and given words of advice by officers.
The episode was reported in the Queen’s Park neighbourhood policing report published here.
