Brighton Comedy Festival gig aims to raise laughs and cash for local charity

The Brighton Comedy Festival is putting on a show for local charity Amaze this evening (Thursday 16 October).

The Big Cheer for Amaze is an evening of stand-up  comedy at Komedia, in Gardner Street, Brighton.

It is the fourth year that the Big Cheer event has been held for the charity which supports local families who have children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

The line-up this year includes the award-winning comic actor and TV panellist Joe Wilkinson, Romesh Ranganathan from Mock The Week and Angela Barnes from Stand Up For The Week on Channel 4.

Council repairs

The show, which is not suitable for under-16s, is from 8pm to 10.30pm.
