1) It was Albion’s biggest win under Chris Hughton . And the most emphatic away result since beating Charlton in 2010.
2) However, the Robins handed out the same treatment to The Seagulls in November 2003 . Winning 4-1 at Withdean early in Mark Mchee’s reign. That season ended in promotion for Albion beating City in the playoff final.
3) Sam Baldock Albion goal-scorer and Lewis Dunk yellow card ,both once played for Bristol City.
4) Lee Johnson the Bristol City manager was at the Albion as player in the 2000/1 season. And despite what Wikipedia says, played twice and scored once, both in the Associate Members cup or JPT as it’s currently known. His only goal a thirty yard screamer at Withdean.
5 Bristol City’s Lee Tomlin is on loan to them from Bournemouth. Albion have loanees from Manchester United and Stoke City. But not Bournemouth…….not yet!
