Albion full-back Gaetan Bong has won the plaudits of boss Chris Hughton after Brighton and Hove News remarked on his recent performances and that he even had a shot on goal against QPR.
Hughton told Brighton and Hove News: “Gaeten is a good and steady player who missed a chunk of the season last year and was actually available a lot earlier than he got in the team.
“Only Liam Rosenior’s form kept him out – that is the competition that we have.
“But Gaetan is a very tough and reliable individual and it’s the same with Bruno on the other side who never seems to miss a match or indeed a training session.”
Albion take on Cardiff City at the Amex today (Friday 30 December) at 7.45pm.
