UPDATE: Dongxu Su was acquitted of the charges.
A man was due to go on trial today (Monday 14 August) charged with raping a woman in Brighton earlier this year.
Dongxu Su, 33, of Caius Court, Stoney Lane, Shoreham, was due to appear at Hove Crown Court before Judge Shani Barnes, the honorary recorder of Brighton and Hove.
He appeared by video link at the same court in March charged with raping a woman on Friday 17 February in Queen’s Road, Brighton.
The woman cannot be named for legal reasons.
Su was also charged with committing another sexual offence on Sunday 19 February, also in Queen’s Road, Brighton.
He denies both charges.
