Half time with Hodges – West Ham United 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 2

Posted On 20 Oct 2017 at 8:55 pm

Sensational Albion lead West Ham by two goals to nil.

Glenn Murray put the Seagulls ahead after 10 minutes.

Last season’s top scorer headed in from a Pascal Gross free kick.

Javier Hernandez has had the Hammers’ best chances but has been kept out by a combination of Lewis Dunk, Shane Duffy and Maty Ryan.

West Ham have had a few corners but Albion have defended well.

Just before half time Davy Propper and Gross combined well to set up Murray again.

But the former England goalkeeper Joe Hart made a good save.

Seconds later Jose Izquierdo picked up a loose ball and fired a superb dipping shot over Hart to put the Albion two nil in front.
