The Goldstone Valley Post Office is set to move next month – but it’s only hopping two doors down.
The post office in Woodland Parade will shut on Tuesday, 23 April and reopen nine days later on 2 May at 9am.
As well as a new home, it will also be renamed Woodland Parade Post Office. Post office services will be provided from a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that is part of the retail counter.
During the relocation alternative post offices include:
- Nevill Road Post Office, 188 – 190 Nevill Road, Hove, BN3 7QQ
- Eldred Avenue Post Office, Eldred Avenue, Brighton, BN1 5EG
- Amherst Crescent Post Office, 268 Old Shoreham Road, Hove, BN3 7EG
The Post Office is now inviting customers and interested parties to give their comments on the move in a public consultation and we are looking for feedback about accessibility, local community issues and anything that we can do to make life easier for our customers.
The consultation will close on 10 May 2019. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 267907. Submissions can also be made via email to comments@postoffice.co.uk, by post to Freepost YOUR COMMENTS, or by telephone 03452 66 01 15 or Textphone 03457 22 33 55.
