Well this show certainly promises to deliver which such a forthright title!
Award winning comedian Kate Smurthwaite offers up her newest one-woman show (and 13th) Clit Stirrer which she is currently touring and which received five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The award-winning feminist, atheist, polyamorous comedian and writer for Have I Got News For You, puts away all those years of coquettishness and gets off the fence. But is she the one with the problem? Lots of angry men with very poor grammar on the internet think so. Kate lifts the lid on her reputation as a provocatrice extraordinaire and asks: where did it all go wrong?
In addition to her rousing line in feminist comedy, Kate’s campaigning work has included almost a decade as spokesperson for Abortion Rights UK and working with female asylum seekers through Women For Refugee Women and Women Asylum Seekers Together so she certainly knows whereof she speaks.
I think this will be a rousing comedic polemic and I for one am enthusiastic about a night in her company. Come and join me!
