Part of Preston Park ‘exploded’ yesterday when a burst water pipe sent water bubbling up to the surface.

A council spokeswoman said: “The flooding in Preston Park is due to a burst water pipe caused by pressure from a recently overhauled borehole water pump.
“The pump has now been turned off and we are arranging for repairs to be carried out.”
Does this have anything to do with airiated water coming from my tap.
