One of the North’s fastest rising indie bands of 2023 – The K’s – will return in 2024 with a fresh wave of UK shows. The tour will coincide with the arrival of their hugely anticipated debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows’ – slated for release March 22nd – Pre-order HERE.

A 12-date run that will see the Earlestown indie champs taking on some of the most sizable venues of their career, the tour will include mouth-watering headline shows at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse, London’s Electric Ballroom and finishing off at Brighton’ Concorde 2. In anticipation of the tour, frontman Jamie Boyle says:
“After the release of our debut album “I Wonder If The World Knows” we will be heading out on our biggest tour to date! We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created and we can’t wait to play it live for you all.”

Tickets for their 2024 tour will be available on general-sale this Friday 27th October at 10am. Further details HERE.

The K’S headline tour dates:
Sat 06 Apr-24 – The Welly, Hull
Fri 12 Apr-24 – Tramshed, Cardiff
Sat 13 Apr-24 – O2 Institute, Birmingham
Thu 18 Apr-24 – La Belle Angele, Edinburgh
Fri 19 Apr-24 – NX, Newcastle
Sat 20 Apr-24 – O2 Academy, Leeds
Fri 26 Apr-24 – O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
Sat 27 Apr-24 – Rock City, Nottingham
Thu 02 May-24 – Electric Ballroom, London
Fri 03 May-24 – Concorde 2, Brighton

It’s safe to say The K’s are going places. Fast. And if you haven’t encountered The K’s impassioned bangers, then catch up. In the last 12 months alone, they’ve sold out a UK tour, and sold every ticket for their upcoming Manchester Academy show in under 24 hours. They opened the main stages at Isle of Wight and Neighbourhood Festivals, as well as gracing the main stages at Leeds, Reading & Kendal Calling, and tore the roof down at this year’s Tramlines, with hundreds unable to get into the big top to see them play. They’ve supported Liam Gallagher, James and Blondie, and their 13 date sellout UK & Ireland tour in the Spring led to a Royal Albert Hall appearance with Kasabian on their day off too.

But this pulsing live reputation shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s their immediately identifiable blueprint. Their debut single ‘Sarajevo’ was one of the few rock & roll songs to namecheck Austro-Hungary, whilst notching up over 4 million streams in the process, and their recent single ‘Hoping Maybe’ became a phone-lights-on live anthem that reached No.2 on the iTunes chart, kept off the top spot only by Miley Cyrus. With successive smash singles finding fans in ever wider audiences, their streaming figures are now comfortably in the millions and counting.

Getting a taste for the big rooms while on a UK-wide run with fellow northern success stories The Reytons (who are touring their recently certified UK No.1 album), The K’s will be hoping to take a leaf out of their book as they eye-ball the release of their own highly anticipated debut album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows’ next year. Speaking about the upcoming release, frontman Jamie Boyle says:

“The long wait is nearly over, and we are finally on the brink of releasing our debut album. “I Wonder If The World Knows” is a written journey throughout the last couple of years of our lives throughout the ups, the downs and everything in between. We’ve put our heart and soul into making the perfect record and we can’t wait for you to hear it.”

Due for release on March 22nd via thriving Manchester indie imprint LAB Records, standby for new music this November and further news from the band very soon…
