Pascal Gross has been included in the starting line up as Brighton and Hove Albion face Manchester City at the Etihad this evening (Wednesday 7 January).
The inclusion of Gross is one of three changes named by Albion boss Fabian Hürzeler along with the return of Jack Hinshelwood and Maxim De Cuyper.
They take the place of Brajan Gruda, Joel Veltman and Charalampos Kostoulas for the match which is due to kick off at 7.30pm – one of eight Premier League fixtures this evening.
Georginio Rutter is up front, supported by Kaoru Mitoma, Diego Gomez and De Cuyper, with Yasin Ayari and Gross also in midfield.
Lewis Dunk skippers the side and will be joined at the back by Hinshelwood, Jan Paul van Hecke and Ferdi Kadioglu, with Bart Verbruggen in goal.
James Milner, who turned 40 on Sunday (4 January) and spent five years at Manchester City, is on the bench alongside Danny Welbeck – a youngster by comparison at just 35 years old.
The subs also include Gruda, Tom Watson, Diego Coppola, Harry Howell and Olivier Boscagli as well as Charlie Tasker and reserve keeper Jason Steele.
Manchester City are missing Josko Gvardiol, with a broken leg, one of five changes from the side that faced Chelsea in a 1-1 draw on Sunday (4 January).
Like Gvardiol, Ruben Dias also went off in the second half against the Blues, with an injured thigh, and is not yet fit again.
Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are down for a start with Rodri on the bench as second-place City look to close the gap on Arsenal at the top of the table.
City have 42 points from 20 games and are six points behind the Gunners while Brighton are 10th with 28 points.
