Mystery Musicals Bottomless Brunch – Komedia Brighton

Brighton’s Komedia is turning brunch into a showstopper with the brand-new Mystery Musicals Bottomless Brunch! Hosted by comedian, presenter, and podcaster Lee Peart, this interactive musical brunch invites audiences to sing, dance, and lip-sync along to hit songs from their favourite on-screen musicals—all while enjoying a delicious brunch.

Each event is a surprise: the musical title is only revealed to ticket holders a week before, and attendees are encouraged to bring costumes and props to fully immerse themselves in the magic. Guests can compete in a lip-sync challenge, play audience games, and win prizes for best outfits—so it’s part brunch, part cabaret, and all fun. The venue will be decorated with themed flair by Flamingo Styling, creating a colourful, immersive atmosphere that will transport you straight into the world of musical theatre.

Lee Peart will guide the audience through the chaos, the laughs, and the show-stopping numbers, ensuring everyone gets the chance to channel their inner star. Whether you want to belt out the classics, strut your stuff, or just sit back with a Bloody Mary, there’s something for everyone who loves musicals, theatre, and a bit of friendly competition.

Don’t miss your chance to become one of the nicest (theatre) kids in town! Audiences will belt out classics, get whipped into shape for a lip-sync challenge, and compete for prizes, with the ultimate goal of being crowned Komedia’s very own Dancing Queen. To keep the suspense alive, the musical title will only be revealed to ticket holders a week before the brunch, along with costume and prop ideas to help you escape into a world of pure imagination.

With 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, on-screen subtitles, audience games, and prizes for the best outfits, the brunch is part immersive theatre, part cabaret, and 100% fun. Komedia has partnered with Sarah King of Flamingo Styling to transform the venue for each event, creating a colourful, theatrical atmosphere that fully complements the sing-along action.

Lee Peart said: “As the most masculine man on earth, you may be surprised to learn I love a musical. And I love a mystery. So, combining those two passions is incredibly exciting – it’s going to be the hottest ticket in town. Get your Glinda outfits out the closet, dust off your Mary Poppins carpet bags, and steam those Rocky Horror fishnets… because I’m going to be hosting Mystery Musicals and it’s going to be fabulous!”

Expect sing-alongs, games, prizes, and pure theatrical joy at this fabulous new brunch experience—Brighton’s musical theatre fans will definitely be coming back for more!
