UK Subs – book, box set and bash!

Who would have predicted back in 1976 that punk rock legends the UK Subs‘ frontman, Charlie Harper, would still be gigging and releasing records with his band after 50 years? It surely is an astounding accomplishment and one that sits in high regard amongst the worldwide punk fraternity.

Charlie is still just a normal bloke that you can easily approach and exchange some banter with. Likewise goes for his charming wife Yuko. The pair eat, sleep and in Charlie’s case drink all things punk.

Charlie Harper’s autobiography ‘An Anarchy of Demons’

Charlie has also just published his autobiography, which is titled ‘An Anarchy of Demons’ and it’s an impressive 478 pages long! Charlie’s fascinating story is told in his own unique style, taking the reader through his early years as a ‘war baby’, his time at boarding schools for misfit boys, his adventurous youth, his struggles and escapades as a bass player, his turbulent personal life as well as his incredible journey with the U.K. Subs, as a solo artist and with his many side-project bands. Illustrated throughout with many unseen photos from his own collection, this will be without doubt, the most talked about punk rock book of the year. Grab your copy HERE.

If its music that you crave, then you can certainly do wrong by snapping up the A-Z of the U.K. Subs 26 CD box set! Yep 26! That’s 542 tracks in total. You can find your copy HERE.

Support on the night will come from Knock Off and Guitar Gangsters. The high-energy live music event has been organised by Human Punk., who are specialists in the punk scene. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from HERE and HERE.
