Police have issued a public appeal for help to find a woman suspected of being involved in stealing a pet.
Sussex Police said today (Sunday 12 April): “Do you recognise this woman?
“We would like to speak to her as part of an investigation into pet theft.
“A suspect was reported to have claimed to be working for the RSPCA before taking a pet chihuahua / porkies cross, Loki, in Brighton.
“A 55-year-old man has already been arrested on suspicion of theft and resisting arrest in connection to the investigation.
“If you recognise this woman or have been approached by someone suspicious claiming to work for the RSPCA, please report it to the police online or via 111, quoting serial 552 of 22/03.”
