Cassyette set to headline Pride Rock events

Independent alt-pop artist Cassyette returns with the new single and video ‘Oops (it’s a bad idea)’, marking the start of a bold new era. Listen to ‘Oops (it’s a bad idea)’ HERE and watch the official video HERE.

Having previously bridged the gap between rock, metal and alternative pop, Cassyette now steps firmly into alt-pop with ‘Oops (it’s a bad idea)’. A high-energy, rebellious track that leans into instinct, chaos and the thrill of bad decisions. Playful yet self-aware, ‘Oops’ captures the rush of doing exactly what you shouldn’t… and loving it. The official video was shot on film and directed by eyefl00d, alongside creative direction from Cassyette.

Speaking about the single, Cassyette said: “I think people could do with a little more ‘Oops’ in their life right now, honestly. It’s that mood of knowing it might be a bad idea and doing it anyway. Usually the best moments come from being impulsive and yeah… if it all goes wrong, you can always just say, ‘oops.’”

Since the release of her critically acclaimed and UK Top 40 charting debut album ‘This World F**king Sucks’, which also reached No.1 on the Official Rock & Metal Chart, Cassyette has been writing extensively and expanding her world beyond music into fashion and nightlife, launching her own UK club night, Degenerette and walking in notable London Fashion Week shows. Now operating independently and recently awarded MEGS funding to support her next phase, Cassyette enters this chapter with full creative control. Signalling a confident and intentional evolution in both sound and vision.

Having toured with the likes of Bring Me the Horizon, My Chemical Romance and Sum 41 as well as performing at Download, Reading & Glastonbury festivals, Cassyette has built her career on visceral live performance and a direct connection with her audience. Later this summer, Cassyette will headline Pride Rock 2026, with headline shows in London, Manchester and Brighton.

Cassyette has amassed a social following of over a quarter of a million on Instagram and over 1.2 million followers on TikTok, alongside hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners. With ongoing editorial support from Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer, she has received support from BBC Radio 1, including a C-list placement on The Greg James Show. Highlights include gracing the covers of Kerrang!, GAY TIMES and Rocksound, becoming the first featured artist for TikTok’s Rock Hub, and performing at countless festivals including Download, Reading and Glastonbury. In 2024, she released her critically acclaimed debut album ‘This World F*cking Sucks’, which charted at No.39 on the UK Official Charts and No.1 on the Official Rock & Metal Chart.
