Joao Pedro will miss a return to the Amex when Brighton and Hove Albion take on Chelsea in the Premier League tonight (Tuesday 21 April).
The Brazilian forward is the top scorer for the Blues so far this season, followed by Cole Palmer. But both players are out injured.
The west Londoners face a Brighton side with three changes from the line up that started the 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday (18 April).
Kaoru Mitoma, Georginio Rutter and Carlos Baleba return, with Diego Gomez missing after a knock to the knee at Spurs and Danny Welbeck and Yasin Ayari on the bench.
Pascal Gross will wear the skipper’s armband as club captain Lewis Dunk returns from suspension but is also among the subs.
Former Albion player Liam Rosenior has a few familiar faces in his Chelsea side tonight – from Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella to Robert Sanchez in goal.
Fans have been warned about hold ups on their journey to the ground, with road and lane closures on the A23 and A27.
See you tonight, Albion fans! 💙🤍 Plan your journey to the Amex carefully with delays expected due to lane and road closures on A27 and A23. 🚨⤵️
