A police car crashed into parked cars in Hove last night (Tuesday 25 August) as officers tried to stop a car.
Sussex Police said: “On the evening of Tuesday 25 August, Sussex Police deployed officers in Hangleton as part of an ongoing investigation.
“At around 10pm, officers were attempting to stop a car in Elm Drive when the police vehicle collided with parked cars.
“No one was injured and there was no risk to the wider public.
“A man has been arrested in connection with the operation and remains in police custody at this time.
“Inquiries are ongoing and we will provide further updates as the investigation progresses.”
