A Brighton man has been charged with failing to comply with an order made under the Counter Terrorism Act.
Abubaker Deghayes, of Chadborn Close, Brighton, was made subject to the Terrorist Notification Order in 2022.
Such orders require individuals to regularly update police with personal information such as addresses, or plans to go abroad.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
The charge is in connection with an investigation led by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE).
