Gus Poyet has won the Outstanding Managerial Achievement Award at this evening’s Football League Awards ceremony in London.
Poyet has taken the Albion from 19th in League 1 to 5th in Championship in less than three years.
The club won the League 1 championship almost unchallenged last season and are unbeaten this year except for one FA Cup match.
The Seagulls are currently in contention for a play-off place and could yet find themselves in the Premier League next season.
