Early morning patrols requested to catch Kemp Town dog poopers

Dog wardens are being asked to put on early hour patrols in New Steine Gardens, Brighton, to stop dog walkers allowing their pets to foul the park.

The Kemp Town park is meant to be off limits to dogs, but this rule is not only being flouted, owners are also failing to dispose of any dog mess their pets leave behind.

Brighton and Hove City Council dog warden Maggi Hollands has already been patrolling the area, but the St James’s Street Area Local Action Team is asking the council to concentrate on between the hours of 7am and 9am.

It believes that this will be the best time to catch offenders.
