A man has been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after attack outside Brighton railway station in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 27 September).
Sussex Police said: “Police received a report of a serious assault in Queen’s Road, Brighton, at around 3.45am on Sunday 27 September.
“The victim, a 32-year-old local man, sustained facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“Our inquiries are ongoing to locate the suspect.
“Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 209 of 27/09.
“A section of the road close to the railway station has been cordoned off for forensics investigations.
“The public can expect to see a visible police presence in the area in the meantime.”
