The Royal Pavilion ice rink in Brighton opens to the public tomorrow (Saturday 8 November).
The ice rink marked its fifth anniversary with a party last night (Thursday 6 November) which included a performance by the Dancing on Ice and X-factor star Ray Quinn.
He sang a song from his new EP, Old Soul, Young Blood while professional figure skater Iain George performed a routine on the ice.
The pair will be performing in Holiday on Ice at the Brighton Centre in January.
Ice rink boss Shella Parkin said that the rink was bigger this year and that children under five, accompanied by a paying adult, would go free for the first hour every day.
The rink can take up to 260 skaters a session, with sessions lasting an hour. Skating times start at 10am each day and end at 10.15pm.
Ticket prices have been held at the same prices as last year – £10 for adults and £7 for students and children under 12. Off peak prices are on offer every Monday to Friday until mid-December up to 5.15pm to allow school children to enjoy the rink.
The rink will be open until Sunday 18 January.
