Albion are level with Birmingham despite going ahead from a Joao Teixeira shot that appeared to be palmed into the net by Birmingham keeper Darren Randolph.
The inevitable equaliser came soon after as Andrew Shinnie’s centre was poked home by Clayton Donaldson.
Albion keeper David Stockdale made a good save from Donaldson when the latter was clean through. Gordon Greer is having a good game for Albion.
But both Inigo Calderon and Leon Best have scuffed clear-cut chances. Sam Baldock also fired wide when clean through.
Stockdale was the hero of the last minute of the first half saving a penalty from Paul Caddis.
