A crash between a lorry and a car on the A27 between Southwick Tunnel and the Devil’s Dyke turnoff is causing big tailbacks this afternoon.
The accident happened at about 1pm today. One eastbound lane is now closed and queues are building.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at around 1pm on Monday (5 October) to a report of a collision between a lorry and a car on the A27 near Hangleton.
“There are no serious injuries reported at this time.
“One lane remains closed heading east. No arrests have been made.”
