It’s quite amazing to learn that Sussex’s GLASTONWICK Festival is now in its 24th year. It just goes to show how successful it has become!
In fact it’s nearly upon us and I’m pleased to report that there are still a few tickets available, but you had better hurry and snap yours up really quickly!
Once again this year it will taking place a mere 8 miles West of Portslade (or 10 miles from Hove if you prefer) at the charming Church Farm, Coombes, West Sussex, BN15 0RS. That’s literally up from the main traffic lights north of Shoreham Airport.
The Glastonwick 2019 Festival runs for three days: Friday 31st May – Sunday 2nd June and there will be an impressive 75+ cask-conditioned beers, cider, perry, and lovely food on offer across the three days. Before you panic – YES there are options to camp onsite!
The merriment will be interspersed with enjoyable entertainment from no less than 20 bands, musicians and poets, all performing inside the sizeable farm barn.
The Brighton & Hove News attended all three days last year and was taken aback as to how friendly and relaxed this event actually is. There was no nastiness or modern day pressures – just sunshine, music, liquid refreshment and pleasing company.

The Glastonwick Festival organisers it seems are catering for everyone, as they have once again organised free shuttle buses from and to Shoreham to the venue, with a daily journey to and from Brighton. Obviously these will be on a first come first served basis. Onsite camping available Friday and Saturday (£7.50 per night).
Sunday camping tickets at £7.50 will be available from the farm during the weekend for those who wish to stay over Sunday night.
