The two people who died in a motorbike crash early this morning were a 30-year-old man and his pillion passenger, a woman of 25.
According to Sussex Police, they died when they came off a silver and blue Suzuki heading east along Kingsway, the A259, outside the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove.
They both died at the scene between St Aubyns and Hove Street at about 1am today.
Police kept the eastbound side of the road closed until 9.40am while the crash site examined.
