A teenager threatened three boys with a knife in Portslade in the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday 18 April).

The teenager was with another boy when they approached three 16 and 17-year-olds in Shelldale Road, near Gardner Street, at about 1am.

One of the victims was pushed during the incident before all three ran off unharmed.

Detective Constable Caroline Biggs, from Brighton and Hove CID, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the two suspects.

“I would also like to hear from a man who was walking his dog near to where the incident happened.”

Any witnesses are asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
