Brighton and Hove's postal voters asked for their signature
Voters in Brighton and Hove who have a proxy or postal vote are being asked to send in their current signature.
Forms are being sent to everyone who has had a postal or proxy vote for more than five years.
Brighton and Hove City Council is urging residents to sign the form and return it as soon as they receive it.
A new signature is needed as a security measure, the council said, as people’s signatures and circumstances can change over time.
The final deadline for voters to reply is Monday 5 March. The council said that prompt replies would save money on reminders.
Anyone with a disability that prevents them from providing a signature or from signing in a consistent way should contact the council’s electoral services team.
