A cyclist was seriously injured yesterday (Thursday 25 October) after a crash with a van in Brighton.
The accident happened at the junction of Edward Street and Dorset Street just after 9.15am.
The 49-year-old man from Brighton was riding a red bike when he was in collision with a white Fiat Ducatto van driven by a 42-year-old woman from Brighton.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Anyone who saw the collision or either the van or cyclist in the area in the time leading up to the collision is asked to call Sussex Police on 101.
