Brighton & Hove Albion 1 Norwich City 1

Albion drew their final pre-season friendly with the Canaries although it was the Seagulls who played in yellow this evening (Tuesday 30 July).

Solly March cancelled out Jonathan Howson’s first-half flick for Norwich with a wonder strike that left England keeper John Ruddy grasping thin air.

Andrea Orlandi had an early attempt on goal from a tight angle and was thwarted by the wet pitch just before the break. And Kazenga LuaLua had a stab at trying to grab a late winner against the Premiership side. Norwich also came close to scoring a second.

Kemy Agustien made his Albion debut in front of just over 10,000 spectators at the Amex.

Andrew Crofts skippered the Seagulls against his old club. He was one of nine players to be substituted at half time. Former Albion midfielder Elliott Bennett featured for Norwich.

Albion managed three wins and tonight’s draw and suffered one defeat in their five pre-season friendlies. On Saturday (3 August) they face Leeds United at Elland Road in their opening fixture of the Championship season.
