Not the most important piece of news you’ll read all weekend, but someone is clearly upset at some mindless vandalism to a Brighton city centre pedestrian crossing.
The anonymous complainant has filed a report via the FixMyStreet website informing Brighton and Hove City Council that the green man has been ripped out of the pedestrian crossing at the junction of Upper North Street and Dyke Road.
He or she adds: “The green man has been removed from the crossing, like some kind of mediaeval eye-gouge. Nasty.”
