Yesterday saw the opening of the beautifully restored arches to the west of the West Pier.
But in an echo from the past, work on that section of the seafront has now seen, more of the seafront arches exposed for the first time in many years.
Chris Limb took this picture of arches which were once covered by the West Pier decking.
They will now be strengthened as part of the Brighton i360 project, which celebrated its official ground-breaking yesterday.
