Ed Miliband is hosting one of his weekly People’s Question Time sessions in Hove on Monday.

Ed MilibandThe Labour party leader’s Q&A seminars were launched last month in Nottinghamshire, and will be held around the country every week until the general election.

They give members of the public the chance to put questions to Mr Miliband directly.

The Hove event will take place from 10.30am to 1.30pm at an as-yet undisclosed location.

    No Rostrum. No.

I am one of those who received an invitation and accepted it. And I doubt Labour would consider me to be one of its sycophants. I am still growling and hissing over their Karis King Alfred schemings (which the public ended for them pretty emphatically in May 2007).

It all sounds like a Secret Service set-up rather than a public meeting.

Time is better spent on the hoof. Seems more real to me.
