Liberal Democrats nominate candidates for almost every ward in local elections in Brighton and Hove

The Liberal Democrats have nominated candidates for 20 out of the 21 wards in the local elections in Brighton and Hove on Thursday 7 May.

The party is putting up 30 candidates although all 54 seats on Brighton and Hove City Council are up for grabs.

Nominations closed at 4pm today (Thursday 9 April).

Former Hove councillor Bob Bailey is standing in Hove Park, a seat that is expected to be held by the Conservatives.

    Ridiculous, what a waste of money! (as they will mostly all lose their deposits).
    Would have been more sensible not to stand and instead give the money to victims of child abuse from their vile obese paedo monster Cyril Smith. But oh no, their vanity won’t permit that.
